Q. What is LaserTag?

A. LaserTag is an action game. Each player wears a pack, with an individual pack name. The aim of the game is to shoot other players, disabling their pack for 6 seconds, thus gaining you points. The player with the most points wins.

Q. How does the gun work?
A. As part of a safety feature, our guns require both hands to be in contact with certain places on the gun so it will shoot. Lasers are released from the guns when the trigger is pulled. If your Laser hits the lights on your opponents pack, you will disable their pack and receive points relevant to where you shot them.

Q. What is the points system?
  A. For hitting your opponents pack on the front, you will receive 200 points. For hitting your opponents pack on the back, you will receive 100 points.For hitting your opponents pack on either of the shoulders or gun, you will receive 50 points.

Q. How long is each game?
A. Each game lasts roughly 20 minutes, including a briefing. If you are having more than one game, you will have a 20 minute break in between each game.

Q. How many people can play at one time?
A. A minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 36 people can play at one time.

Q. Is LaserTag suitable for people who suffer with epilepsy?
A. Yes, however we do have a strobe light in the arena which can be turned off on request.

Q. How old do you have to be to play LaserTag games at LaserHub?
A. We take children from 7 years old. This is due to Health and Safety regarding the size and weight of our packs. We do not have a maximum age! Adults are always welcome.

Q. What should I wear?
A. Flat, comfy shoes are advisable. The arena is lit by ultraviolet lights so dark clothing is wise.

Q. Is the arena on one level?
A. Yes, however there are some ramps.

Q. Is the arena suitable for disabled people?
A. The arena is wheel chair accessible.

Q.Do we play in teams?
A. You can either play in teams or you can play a solo game (all against all)

Q. How many teams can we have?
A. You can have up to 3 teams.

Q. How many people can play at one time?
A. Up to 36 people can play in the LaserTag arena at one time.

Q. How often do you run games?
A. We run games every 20 minutes. They are on the hour, 20 minutes past the hour and 40 minutes past the hour.

Q. When is the best time to come down?
A. Weekend evenings or during the week are less busy.
